Tallinn, Estonia / St Martin’s Day Fair, Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union

Each year, the Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union is organizing the Saint Martin’s Day Fair. This major event of the handicraft and folkloric lifestyle takes place around the Saint Martin’s Day, date celebrated in several countries of North Europe. The last edition was held in Tallin from Novembre 9th to 11th 2012.


The best of the Estonian handicraft was represented and sold at this faire. Specialized workshops and activities for children were organized as well as products demonstrations and books presentations. During this fair, it was also possible to taste the traditionnal Estonian food and listen to different bands of folkloric music.

The date of the next edition is already set. The 17th fair will be held from the November 7th to 10th 2013 in Tallinn.
