APCI promotes the approach of design, focalized on the users, as key factors of the innovation economical, social, and cultural, of quality of life and respect to the environment. It addresses itself in enterprises of all sizes and in collectivities for:
- Sensitizers and to accompany them in their strategy of design
- To promote their products in the Observatory of Design
- Inform notably thanks to its site and by
- Accompany in demonstrations abroad on targeted events
APCI develops its actions of awareness of artisans of art in the approach of design in France and participates in these actions of accompaniment to put in place the politics of creation and innovation in many countries.
APCI acts in synergy with the network of actors of design and innovation.
APCI in this program has a role of expertise and participation in the reflection on the design and industrial creation.

Presentation : ASTRA
The ASTRA Museum possesses an experience situating its actions in the sector of cultural conservation and valorization in the perspective of a museum. It acts as a unique complex of many national museums, dedicated to métiers of art. The unique character of this structure brought them to be present on many projects of international exchanges.
The ASTRA Museum has a role of expertise on métiers of art and a role in the organization of the program by the organization of a piloting committee reuniting the group of partners.

Presentation : FUNDESARTE
FUNDESARTE, Fundación Española para la Innovación de la Artesanía (The Spanish Foundation for Artisanal Innovation) is a Spanish organization that works to promote and develop the craft industry in Spain. It is a public entity without lucrative ends, linked with the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, the objective of which is the management of projects aimed at the incorporation and innovation in the craft industry sector, all by being equally a channel of technical cooperation between the professionals of the sector in the domains of research and formation. . The foundation supports artisans during these tests of adaption in new situations demanded by the market by supporting research as well as training in the sector. It has as objectives the revaluing of artisans as an economic sector as well as an essential element in the cultural heritage in Spain, in Europe, and in Mahgreb and South America, and to create a way for technical cooperation and professional exchange in the bettering of procedures of production, innovation, of design and of commercialization.
FUNDESARTE has in this project a role of research and experimentation through the organization of one Master Class on the sector of glass and the iconographic and historic research on the sectors of wood, natural fiber / or glass aimed at the creation of a European center image of metiers of art.

Presentation: MUOVA
MUOVA has in this project a role of research and experimentation through the organization of one Master Class in the sector of wood and the iconographic and historic research on the sectors of wood, natural fiber/ or glass aiming towards the creation of a European center image of métiers of art.
Muova is a research and development centre of the University of Art and Design Helsinki and the University of Vaasa. MUOVA is a governmental, non-profit organization, funded in 1988.
Muova offers design, research and training services. Muova specializes in increasing competitiveness including that of the companies. Muova combines multidisciplinary applied research, innovative methods and a consumer oriented approach. Muova has developed expertise in brand and design management, creativity, user-centeredness and design. Muova has executed more than 200 projects with different companies.

Presentation: OMA
The Observatory of Métiers of Art was born in 2006 by the initiative of the Savings Bank of Florence. The OMA is an ensemble made up of developed projects in the sector of initiatives of the Savings Bank of Florence, oriented towards the safeguard and the tutelage of historic heritage and artistic, and savoir-faire. Within the Observatory is registered a series of activities of a cultural and promotional type aiming at awareness, information, research, and the conversation of identity of territory and having the objective to promote the sector of métiers of art, the creation of a national network and European of capable institutions to favor the comprehension of diverse cultural identities, as well as deepening of themes such as the quality of productions, the economy and training.
La Fondazione per il clima e la sostenibilità per OmA has in this project a role of research and experimentation through the organization of on Master Class in the sector of natural fiber and the iconographic and historic research on the sectors of wood, natural fiber/ or glass aiming at the creation of a European center image of métiers of art.

The National Institute of Art Trades (INMA) is under the double guardianship of the Secretary of State in charge of commerce and of the craft industry, of PME, of tourism, of free professions and of consummation, and the Minister of Culture and Communication. This unique interdepartmental structure of referral for métiers of art has 4 principle missions:

  • To develop an expertise on craftsmen and their savoir-faire (know-how)
  • To together the networks of craftsmen with all the institutional actors and professionals
  • To develop the promotion of craftsmen nationally and internationally
  • To explore new scopes of cultural development and interactions in the domains of fine art, design and fashion
