Inspiration : the year 2009.
The year of natural fibres – Casentino cloth (ancient fabric from Casentino), The year of Galileo Galilei – an all round heavy cloak (Galileo Galilei’s globe). Casentino cloth is cut into several segments starting from the collar to the hem, that call to mind the studies on the dome of heaven carried out in the 16th and 17th century by Galileo Galilei, then every segment is trimmed and lined with brocade, a type of fabric that precisely in the 16th and 17th centuries was all the rage and a double-faced, detachable hood (lined with brocade) which calls to mind the ladies from the 16th and 17th centuries. Artistic Sartorial Workshop.
