Description: Peasant blouse for women, folded around the neck; tailored from 2 wide pieces of cloth (back and front part); 46,5cm long and 72 cm wide; sleeves made up of 2 wide pieces of cloth, beginning from the neck down, having 72 cm long and 42 cm wide; fasten system in the left part; folded around the neck with “beată” and “ciupag” embroidered with geometrical motifs; adornments on the chest: 6 vertical strings called “ciocănele”, motif called “zăluţă“ besides; on the shoulder: “altiţa“ also with “ciocănele” motif; 3 strings of “ciocănele” with “zăluţă“ on the margins goes down along the sleeves from the neck down till the hem of the flounce/ “fodor“; a bracelet/ string at the wrist that terminates with a “fodor“; crochet lace at the end of the sleeves. Chromatics: white, black, golden.

Economic sector: Worked in a rural workshop, in homestead;
On the nowadays market this type of object can be found, the price varying between 800 – 1000 lei (according the quality of the fabric, meticulosity and richness of motifs). There is interest for buying this kind of object among the wide public, and mostly among the folklore ensembles. In our country, at this moment are about 20 craftsmen that manufacture this kind of traditional women blouses.
