“Finnish Verso Design Oy is specialised in interior products of personal design and high quality. The company was established in 1997, and its first product is Verso carpet designed by interior decorator Kirsikka Savonen and textile artist Tuttu Sillanpää. In 1996 the Verso carpet was rewarded as an innovative product concept in a competition named Wood of Finland, which gave the impetus to the production of the Verso carpet. After that the collection of products has increased, containing now not only carpets but also table top equipment, textiles and accessories. Products are made from wool, linen and wood. Personal design and material choices make the products exciting and suitable for both home decoration and office interiors. Many of the products are ecological and non-allergenic. The company’s most important export markets are in Europe, Japan and U.S.A. In the future the company aims to continue its personal product strategy, offering onwards its results to the export market with purchasing power. “
